We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to join our team, covering a period of parental leave. In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in ensuring continuous training and development, with a focus on our Operations training systems and processes.

The North Ryde manufacturing facility is an important centre for both AstraZeneca and manufacturing in Australia. **What You’ll Do**
Reporting directly to the Site L&D Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the execution of Supply & Manufacturing training systems and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing learning solutions that align with the site’s strategic objectives
- Collaborating with functional teams and Subject Matter Experts to craft and maintain training materials and assessments that support performance outcomes
- Supporting the role-based training framework in collaboration with managers and process owners, including facilitating annual reviews of training plans (role based training) in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Managing LMS activities, including onboarding, job changes, extended leave procedures and data administration tasks such as creation of training courses and data entry
- Maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal standards, policies, and SOPs
- Assisting with training-related data management for internal and regulatory audits
**Essential Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Experience in GMP or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and various learning methodologies
- Experience working with global business stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
**Desirable Requirements**:
- 2 years of experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) in a large matrixed environment.
- Professional qualification in Learning & Development or a related field.
