The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.- Relief positions covering Sydney West, and Southwest areas. Newcastle and Hunter areas.- Level 4, NSW State Award $26.87ph + $100.00 per week Relief Officer Allowance

About the role

The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Monitor CCTV and radio communications systems
- Access control and monitor fire and alarm panel
- Respond to all customer enquiries and liaise with emergency services
- Conduct foot patrols
- Complete reports and computer use
- Sites include Holsworthy Barracks, RAAF Richmond, RAAF Glenbrook, RAAF Williamtown, Singleton Army Base.

Skills & experience
- NSW Security Licence - 1A as minimum
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- First Aid and CPR
- NSW Driver Licence
- Baseline Clearance/NV1 or the ability to obtain
- Australian Citizenship
- Intermediate computer skills
- Available to work a 24/7 roster
