In response to the increased demand for our Advisory services, AMC Consultants is looking for a Principal Mining Consultant to be based in one of our Australian offices and play a leading role in our operational excellence team. AMC Advisory focuses on bridging the gap between technical solutions and commercial mining outcomes by providing whole of mine optimization advice.

**Who you will be working with**
Andrew Hall is the Executive Lead of AMC’s Advisory team. He has over 25 years of experience with expertise in feasibility studies, technical due diligence, public reporting of Ore / Mineral Reserves, and business improvement and transformation of underground and open pit metalliferous mines.

You will report to Christian McMahon, Advisory Lead - Operational Excellence. Christian has 25 years of experience including mine management roles for underground and open cut metalliferous mining operations.

Johnny Mercer-Royce has primary expertise in financial analysis, market/industry analysis, and business improvement supported by over 12 years of practical experience in underground and surface mining.

Laura Daly has a strong foundation in all areas of business analysis, from strategy through to measuring organizational performance and demonstrated strengths in financial evaluation and benchmarking.

Mani Rajagopalan has thirty-five years of management consulting and operations experience primarily in open pit metalliferous and coal operations.

Abi Saad has seven years of practical mining experience combined with qualifications in business administration and financial analysis.

**Now a bit more information about the role**
By combining our SmartDataTM and proven analytical tools with expert knowledge in whole of mine optimization, AMC is delivering new insights and unlocking real value for our clients. You will use your strong analytical abilities and communications skills to help drive high-performance in mining operations and projects.

You will undertake comprehensive 10x Performance DiagnosticsTM programmes, analyse complex data sets, and collaborate within AMC teams to quantify value drivers and develop optimized solutions. These programmes typically include site visits to fully understand the processes and practices used at the operation, to liaise with key personnel and collect information, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
