**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
As our new Community Centre Programs and Promotions Coordinator you will focus on promoting, scheduling, planning and managing our programs within our community centres. By collaborating with our Bookings Admin team you will also play a large role in promoting and supporting the ongoing development of our onsite services, programs and activities with a focus on community building, wellbeing and social engagement.
We have a wide range of bookable spaces and Staffing Centres available for our community and promoting and creating opportunities to increase the utilisation of these spaces will be a main part of your role.
- Qualifications in community services, social sciences, customer service, administration, facilities, sports and recreation or related disciplines
- Experience in creating and delivering programs or supervising community-based facilities (for example, community centres, leisure and recreation centres, libraries and art galleries)
- High level interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and ability to resolve conflict
- High level administrative and computer skills and an ability to maintain accurate records
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan tasks effectively, work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and strong cross-cultural skills
- Demonstrated achievements in fostering and nurturing partnerships through effective stakeholder management
- Working with Children Check.

**Position information**: This is a permanent, full-time position, working a 70 hour fortnight, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement.
This role is predominantly located across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.
**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 12 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,705.18 to $1,960.60 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
