At Southern Districts Support our mission is to provide optimum care and support to our clients. We believe in giving back to the community and our community support workers have the admirable and inspiring role to do so by caring for the elderly and disabled both in their homes as well as out and about day-to-day. You would be joining a kind hearted team who dedicate their time towards helping enable client independence as well as building relationships within the community.

Our team work alongside our clients to build a care plan most suited to their needs, you would be following this plan to ensure the highest quality care is provided based on the clients desires.
Some of your daily responsibilities will include; social support, shopping assistance, personal care and medication administering. Other responsibilities include respite and meal preparation.

**What we require**
- Two years or more experience working in Community or Residential Aged Care setting
- Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- Medication Competency (desirable)
- A valid non-provisional WA driving license
- Access to a reliable safe vehicle appropriate to transport clients.
- Full comprehensive car insurance and registration
- All applicants must have a suitable National Police Certificate and a Working With Children Check no older than 6 months or be willing to obtain one
- Disability support worker experience (desirable)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid19

**Salary**: $27.30 - $32.00 per hour
