We have an exciting opportunity for a **National HSEQ Manager **to join our team.

This role is based in **Brisbane **.

**The Role**

The National HSEQ Manager is responsible for managing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of BGIS Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) to:

- Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across a portfolio of facilities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations; and WHS / environmental systems
- Understand the HSEQ requirements and processes for work tasks and the elimination of workplace hazards
- Lead the Investigation of HSEQ incidents and manage internal and external HSEQ audits
- Provide training on HSEQ management and BGIS management systems
- Maintain BGIS processes, procedures and records, and content for online HSEQ services including intranet information
- Responsible for developing and maintain key account HSEQ document such as: management plans, risk registers and improvement plans.
- Working closely with account team and client to drive HSEQ improvement across the account.
- Provide strategic HSEQ governance across the account.
- Lead HSEQ specific engagements with the client.
- Provide support and advice to operational, account leadership and client teams around HSEQ issues.
- Lead and support the team of HSEQ advisors who support the operational teams.

**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years' experience in an HSEQ Leadership role, ideally in the resources sector
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS Management (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management and/or camp management (desirable)
- Working knowledge of HSEQ Management Systems
- Auditing and incident investigation (ICAM, TapRoot, etc.) qualifications and/or experience
- Demonstrated experience in influencing and stakeholder management across all levels of an organisation.
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt an innovative and collaborative approach to HSEQ management.
