Known as the ‘Bushland Shire’, our local government area is characterised by bushland comprising national park, major waterways, natural reserves and rural landscape. The rest of the Shire combines urban, rural and open spaces. **About the role** Is it time for a career change? An exciting opportunity exists for an Aquatic and Recreations Programs and Memberships Officer who is committed to providing excellent customer service whilst maintaining industry best practice with regards to aquatic programs, memberships at both Hornsby and Galston Aquatic and Leisure Centres. This role will require working regular Saturday shifts. **About you** We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to support aquatic and recreation processes and oversee, instruct and help aquatic staff with training and education. Your new role will require you to have the following criteria: - Demonstrate a can do attitude with high customer service and team support skills - Demonstrate strong computer software skills and knowledge - Willingness to complete Austswim or equivalent qualifications in the first 6 months - Willingness to complete Pool Lifeguard in the first 3 months - Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate - Current First Aid Certificate **Benefits of working with us** We pride ourselves on having a fantastic culture with a genuine appreciation for work-life balance.
