We are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Officer based at our
**Seven Hills Site, on a Part-Time Basis, initially on a 12 month Contract.***

**Reporting to the Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include**:

- End to end processing of company payrolls on a fortnight basis related to super, tax and payments.
- Updating and maintaining employee's payroll records
- Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and shift allowances etc.
- Calculation and processing of termination payments
- Processing increases and calculation of back pays
- Maintain employees electronic file with appropriate records to meet legal obligations
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a payroll officer with a degree / diploma in HR or Accounting
- Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist with award interpretation duties
- Intermediate experience using a payroll system as well as MS Excel skills
- Good mathematical skills
- An understanding of the Australian Legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations
- A team player who has a proven record of team collaboration
- A passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results
- A high attention to detail and able to prioritise workload.
