**Company**:
Highly regarded business working on one of Victoria's infrastructure projects. Working from a project site office in inner city, supporting a Commercial Leader.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for providing project accounting, cost control and cost administration support to the project team. Key responsibilities will include project finance reports, project cash flow reports and general administrative support to Management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support with finance and cost control reporting and administration of the project
- Monthly reporting including forecasting, budgeting, transaction review/queries, infrastructure cost allocation
- Manage and report weekly timesheets
- Manage month end processes as required including accruals, journal transfers, project invoicing
- Assist with the preparation consolidated reporting detailing project status, expenditure and projected cost to completion
- Manage Purchase Orders
- Assist with outstanding Debtors
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project finance requirements to provide accurate, timely, quality accrual, cost and claim management processes.

**What will you need to succeed?**
- 3+ years’ experience in project cost control, finance, business administration and financial reporting
- Qualification in Business, Accounting or similar
- Strong MS Office skills, including advanced Excel skills
- Ability to analyse and present statistical data
- Ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management, staff and external stakeholders (verbal and written)
- Experience in a similar design/construct project is preferred, and the understanding of project accounting concepts
