**Cost Controller**

We are currently seeking an experienced highly skilled and safety focused Cost Controller to join our team located to our Southbank, Melbourne office (with occasional site travel to Geelong).

**About the role**

To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:

- Cost control, invoicing and debtor recovery activities for site ensuring compliance with company terms and other policies
- Assist with billing processes, reconcile the weekly labour billing, review and provide the solution for the billing return within required deadlines and to required levels of accuracy for the contract.
- Maintain the data integrity of the contract financial data in SAP
- Ensure client and project invoicing is completed on time
- Computer literacy and advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
- Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members

Preferred skills and experience:

- Project and/or site experience in a cost controller role.
- Demonstrated experience utilising SAP
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
