**About the role**
The Head of Portfolio Planning and Performance is accountable for ensuring Lifeblood effectively transitions from managing individual projects to strategic portfolio management across longer term time horizons.

You will be responsible for maintaining a whole of strategy perspective, ensuring strategic roadmaps are maintained and ensuring they drive prioritisation decisions. This role will also proactively identify activities to deliver Lifeblood’s strategy through analysis of current performance and engaging with business stakeholders.

You will lead the effective delivery of approved projects and initiatives, through the Project Management Office and Organisational Change Management to ensure effective project and people support while also implementing portfolio health check reporting to provide transparency of portfolio risks, along with recommended risk mitigation activities.

- 3+ years of experience in portfolio leadership
- Strong strategic planning and portfolio prioritisation capabilities
- Experience managing a bi-modal (Agile and Waterfall) portfolio of work
- Excellent communication (oral and written), negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in providing high level written and oral presentations and reports to Senior Management and Boards
- Strong ability to work across and influence others from Executives, Senior Leaders to peers
- Proven, financial, quality and risk management skills.
