**About the Role**

Technical Services is responsible for providing hardware and software support for direct customers, Canon business partners and our field technicians. The Software Support Specialist is responsible for managing escalations through to resolution on Canon’s business products & associated software. This Macquarie Park, Sydney based role reports to the Software Support Manager & offers high degree of flexibility in operating

**Main Duties**
- Providing your technical expertise to resolve escalations, to help contribute to financial goals and success of Canon Sales and Support Group (SSG)
- Resolve customer problems and queries in an effective and timely manner
- Provide the highest level of support on selected technologies to all Sales and Support customers for the lifecycle of the product
- Present a professional and positive attitude while building and maintaining good relations with Canon customers internal and external
- Provide recommendations for improvements and changes
- Create, populate and maintain a knowledgebase with known resolutions and FAQ's

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will possess great communication skills & ability to confidently interact with the customer. Previous Software Support experience with Print / Document management experience is desirable.

Key Skills & Experience include
- Preferably 2+ years IT experience
- Strong troubleshooting and technical aptitude and skills
- Proven time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Previous Customer service/ Helpdesk environment experience
- Print and Document management experience
