Agent Oversight Representative

This role requires domestic and international (NZ) travel.
- Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Review of customer activity and review that system generated "smart alerts" comply with internal AML/ATF policies;
Review of agent activity and ensuring that transactions carried out at our agent locations comply with internal AML/ATF policies;
Review that internal communications made by our agent/store employees or back-office colleagues comply with internal AML/ATF policies;
Assess our agents' knowledge of AML/ATF regulations;
Provide compliance training to Ria agents (Could be a business owner and/or their employees);
Keep our customers up to date on all RIA compliance rules and regulations;
Keep our agents up-to-date on all RIA compliance rules and regulations;
Collaborate in preparation and filing of STR’s for detected suspicious activities and contribute in preparing responses to different inquiries from local authorities;
Contribute to creation of new policies, collaborating with senior analysts and supervisors.

Develops a deep understanding of Ria’s business
Exercises discretion and confidentiality for matters relating to the Compliance Department in Australia & New Zealand.
Maintains all records in a neat and organized manner
Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Identifies best practice tools for a more efficient and practical workflow
Serves as an active team member in supporting department’s growth and goals to ensure sound operational understanding and implementation of operational procedures
- Qualifications
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Ability to travel for one week at a time domestically and internationally when required
Opportunity to work remotely 50% of the time
Fluent in English
Tertiary degree preferred
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Power BI preferred
Self-starter, analytical skills, organized and able to meet deadlines
AML compliance related activities preferable
Knowledge of money laundering compliance requirements for money service businesses highly considered
Australian full Driver’s license
