- Permanent Part Time | 46 hours per fortnight | 3 shifts a week

**About the role**

Box Hill Hospital Endoscopy Unit is a new unit with 3 endoscopy rooms and caters for about 7500 patients each year.

The position will suit an applicant with outstanding customer service skills with a patient focus. Computer and interpersonal skills are required with proven clerical experience. The incumbent will have a positive attitude and be able to work under pressure.

The position involves a broad range of administrative duties including admitting, transferring and discharging patients as required, telephone enquiries and record management. It also requires performing data entries, maintenance and compilation of medical records, real time updating of patient information and using endobase system.

Shifts will be 0700-1430/1530 or 1000-1830 on a rotating roster

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Experience in Hospital Patient Information Management Systems and medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
