Chandler Macleod has partenered with our National Food Production client and are seeking multiple experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Officers for their site in Laverton North. Full time hours with OT available daily.

**About The Company**:

- Laverton North
- Poultry Processing Facility
- 4am start time - 8 hour shifts - $35 per hour

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Setting up, regular calibration and operation of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Performing tests for a wide range of manufactured final products to verify conformity to specifications.
- Making decisions while checking a batch to bring into conformity to specification having an understanding of the characteristics of the final product.
- Performing and recording all laboratory Quality Control tests and collating results, (raw materials and finished product) including any sample evaluations.
- Inspection and testing of processed and/or packed products to ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements.
- Assisting in any planned production and development trials including the processing of job cards and amendments as required.
- Carrying out both standard and aseptic sampling when required, including archiving of the laboratory samples.
- Carrying out quality requirements on processed products in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Monitoring the day to day hygiene and quality of the manufacturing plant, including monitoring personnel practices.
- Carrying out periodic internal audits of processes and systems on the Campbellfield site.
- Maintain effective working relationships with warehousing, logistics, operators and plant management.
- Remove old retain samples and keep the sample storage area clean and tidy.
- Keeping Laboratory and equipment clean and tidy.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, consumables data and inform QA Team Leader or Quality Manager regularly about status of laboratory requirements.
- Preparation of chemical solutions to standard formulas.
- Selection of products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as physical, chemical, microbiological characteristics.
- Planning and performing storage stability tests on products to measure product performance during storage and changes in product characteristics.
- Performing environmental sample analysis as per guide lines.
- Working within cold and ambient temperature environments
