Headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka with a fully-fledged branch office at the Access Towers in Colombo, Sri Lanka since 2002. Peercore IT has been developing commercial software for the past 20 years for clients in the food distribution. Peercore IT with its increasing expansion plans anticipates recruiting the following personnel to its dynamic team based in Colombo.

Peercore IT is now recruiting staff to work on Projects for its client Peerless Foods Pvt Ltd – Australia. QA

Associate QA Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the requirements and generate test plans
  • Execute test plans to evaluate the quality of the software
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases and release notes
  • Identify, document, and track software defects in JIRA, Bugzilla or similar tools
  • Maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Playwright
  • Work closely with developers in testing process

Requirements

  • Degree from a recognized university or any other professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in QA
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain test scripts
  • Experience in testing using industry standard tools ISTQB or similar certification.
  • Experience in ALM tools, JIRA is preferred
  • Documentation skills
  • Good command of English
