The role we are currently seeking committed and experienced Disability Support Workers for our existing and prospective client in the **Cleveland QLD **provide 1:1 support to our NDIS participant at his house. Participant is require assistance to get for day program, personal care, meal preparation, household duties and community participation. If you are a kind, passionate person with patience and empathetic nature with a can-do attitude; this is certainly the right role for you.

Skills & Experience:

- Certificate 3 in either Mental Health or Disability Support Services/ Age care
- Minimum of 6 months experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Employment Working with Children’s Check, or in process of obtaining one
- Working is SIL & STA environment is seen as advantageous
- Car and drivers’ licence
- Must hold or willing to attain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Two - three relevant, professional and industry related reference checks
- Have a valid, or in process of obtaining a First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate.
- **Must be COVID-19 fully vaccinated**:

- **Must be willing to Travel to Cleveland QLD**:

- **Must have Blue Card (Working with Children)**:

- **Must have Infection Control, Worker Orientation Module and First Aid/CPR Certificate**:

- **20 hours per week**:

- **Must have Experience in** **assisting individuals with Parkinson's disease to manage their daily activities, enhance their quality of life, and promote their independence.**:

- Must be able to go in participants car with her driving, the only time SW will need to drive her car is if she can feel her alter coming through that is a 12yo boy with autism that is non-verbal this is a slow transition and Kayden will tell the SW and pull over and hop in the back. Vehicle registered and 3rd party insurance. Participant has clean driving record.
- **Female Caucasian** **Support worker** aged late 20s to early 50s3. Mental health experience, patient and kind.
- **Must be Pet friendly,**

Advantageous qualifications and experiences:

- Mental Health experience (Working with Complex clients)
- Experience with wheelchair bound clients
- Medication Administration
- Intellectual Disability
