**Lead ICT Service Desk Technician**:
**Your responsibilities**

Working under the guidance of the Service Desk Manager, the Lead ICT Service Desk Technician will provide the SCEGGS community with fast and effective solutions to ICT service requests, incidents and problems.

Key responsibilities for the role:

- Act as the first point of contact for SCEGGS staff, students and parents requiring technical assistance.
- Act as a point of escalation within the Service Desk Team, escalating further when required to the Service Desk Manager / ICT Director.
- Assist the Service Desk Manager in the daily operations of the ICT Service Desk (rostering / ticket management / prioritising cases).
- Act as the point of contact when the Service Desk Manager is on leave.
- Prioritise tickets and workloads effectively to maximise the value from ICT Services.
- Use initiative to troubleshoot problems in a logical way to deliver proper and permanent solutions.
- Participate in a Service Desk duty roster during school hours.
- Create and maintain user guides, system and procedural documentation.
- Update the asset management database with equipment adds, moves and changes.
- Identify areas for improvement in the provision and support of technology services.
- Maintain knowledge of current and future technology and industry trends.
