We’re looking for a reliable, mechanically minded individual to join our small team as a **Vehicle Hoist Technician**. This hands-on role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being on the road, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

**As a Hoist Technician, you’ll be responsible for**:

- Servicing and maintaining 2-post, 4-post, scissor and parking hoists
- Carrying out safety checks, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs
- Assisting with installations, relocations and strip-downs of hoists
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers on-site
- Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

This is a mobile role where you’ll start each day from our Redbank Plains base and travel to sites in our company vehicles.

**Key Details**:

- **Start Date**: Training begins in **December**, with a short introduction period before our **2-week Christmas closure**. The role transitions to **full-time work in the first week of January 2026**.
- **Position Type**: full-time permentant salary employment after probation.
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday (start times vary between 6am-9am depending on job location).
- **Overtime**: Opportunities for weekend or extended hours paid at overtime rates
- **Base Location**: Redbank Plains - you’ll return here daily once jobs are complete.
- **Equipment Provided**: Company work vehicles, tools, and full training.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Mechanically minded - experience with automotive, trade, or repair work is a plus
- Confident using basic tools and power tools (training on hoists provided)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Able to lift and move heavy parts safely
- Comfortable working at heights (top of hoists/ladders)
- Valid Open Driver’s Licence (required)
- Experience towing a trailer (preferred but can be trained)
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude

**Language & Presentation Requirements**
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills - you’ll be interacting with customers daily, explaining technical work and safety details clearly and professionally.
- Professional presentation and customer service skills - we value technicians who are neat, respectful, and represent the business well on client sites.
- Ability to build positive rapport with a diverse range of customers across Queensland.
