We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join our team on a full time or part time basis with working flexibility (office based and WFH).

**ABOUT MLIGHT**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- To record, classify and report information about the business’ financial transactions.
- To accumulate and report on financial information about the performance, financial position, and cash flows of a business by providing the following reports: profit & loss; production gross profit; sales gross profit; account receivable aging report for the month; account payable aging report for the month; and updated cashflow forecast for the next 3-month period.
- Assisting in the preparations of budgets
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Processing invoices
- Performing fortnightly payroll & distribution pay slips
- Processing employee expenses
- Maintenance of company credit cards and receipting
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounts officer role
- Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to deal with busy, high pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to understand, manage and implement financial controls & policies internally which directly improve current state
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow up on outstanding items
- Ability to work independently with mínimal transaction.
- Must have MYOB experience

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
