About the School
We are a Metropolitan region school about 15mins outside of Ipswich with a growing student population currently at 240. We have a unique focus on Nature Play and the outdoors and are proud of our active outdoor opportunities for staff and students.
We believe we do school a little different to most and we need creative thinkers and problem solvers at WSS.
About the Role

**Major accountabilities for this role include**:

- Grounds and building maintenance
- Contractor and trades facilitation
- Health and Safety perspective of grounds and facilities School and P&C events.
- Working with students in alternate programs eg, Walter's Workshop (bikes) Growing Together (Garden), Low and High ropes.
- This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for an autonomous role that is also part of a fun and positive work environment.
- Project work - the creative part

About You
The Schools Officer is an integral and valued part of our team and the successful applicant may be recognised for an increased pay rate after probation period.
Applicants who hold a relevant Certificate III or higher are entitled to the OO3 starting pay rate.
We seek someone who has autonomy but can deliver work output and wants to be a part of our great team.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
