**The Opportunity**:

- Join our Sustainable Futures team as a Community Engagement Consultant, working with a team passionate about delivering great outcomes for our communities and planet
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Consultant who enjoys being out in the field, engaging with communities
- Provide community engagement services on various state-wide infrastructure projects based in Hobart
- Engage with community stakeholders, and our clients including undertaking field-based engagement activities (eg. organising town-hall meetings, undertaking household visits etc)
- Work collaboratively with our internal teams to develop tailored engagement strategies to support their clients

**What you bring**:

- 2-5 years of experience working in stakeholder engagement, community participation, communication, or similar roles
- Experience in community stakeholder engagement methods and tools
- Good understanding of community social risks and impacts in the context of infrastructure project design and implementation
- Ability to communicate in person with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent people skills with advanced listening skills
- Excellent ability to develop written materials for stakeholder engagement and write reports
- Working understanding of digital community stakeholder engagement tools
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office suite of products and using collaboration
- Proven ability to strive in fast-paced, dynamic settings
- Understanding of social mapping and assessment of communities
