**About the role**

This is a part-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role at Medical & Aged Care Group in Boronia. This is an opportunity to make an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference. As a PCA you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality personal care ensuring comfort, safety and well-being to our residents. **What you will bring**
- Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care Work) or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Ability to work independently within the scope of practice
- Commitment to follow RN In Charge directives
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Self-motivated with a positive work attitude
- Empathy, patience and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older adults
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, hygiene and care

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in an Aged Care Facility **Highly Desirable or healthcare setting**:

- Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Statutory Declaration
- Current police check **Required**:

- Seasonal Influenza Vaccination **Highly desirable**:

- COVID Cover for all eligible members and boosters where suitable **Highly desirable**
