About the opportunity

Mercy Place Boronia is a small traditional model aged care facility set at the base of the beautiful Dandenong Mountain Range in Montrose. With a capacity of 43 residents, this home has a real family and community feel where everyone works together as a team to ensure that our residents lives are fulfilling and purposeful whilst we assist them with their activities of daily living and provide person centred care.

As a personal care worker at MP Boronia, you will:
- Provide quality person-centred care to residents from various backgrounds- Report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.- Engage and support activities staff to combat boredom- Work as part of a high functioning team.- Have access to training and support for further career development

- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to care.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A NDIS Worker Check- A current Police Record Check- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
