**Home Support Worker**

Regal Care is a nationally wide Home Care Agency and a registered NDIS provider within Australia.

We provide support to NDIS participants, Aged Care recipients as well as private cliental.

**Position Overview**:

- Home Support Workers help our clients with:

- Personal care such as showering, grooming, or dressing.
- Social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities.
- Capacity building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence.
- Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping or light household cleaning.

**Requirements**:
**Home Support Workers are required to have**:

- National Police Check (Less than a year old)
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License.
- Comprehensively insured, registered and well-maintained car.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance).
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous.

**Remuneration**:
Regal Care pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous bonuses pro rate to the jobs attended. We also pay 10% superannuation on wages. (Please note that the salary we advertise is inclusive of a base rate, allowances, and superannuation on the wages). Allowances included are for the cleaning allowance and vehicle travel allowance.

Additionally, we provide paid induction and other training opportunities and offer permanent part-time positions to all employees when they complete an employment threshold with us.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview.
- Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in requirements.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Availability to work at least 3 days in a week.
- Registered, road-worthy and insured vehicle.

**Selection Process**:

- Telephone shortlisting.
- Online Interview.
- Outcome of interview - If successful, you will be notified and there will be an induction to complete prior to commencing as well as other related paperwork required along the way.
