Product Executive

The Product Executive for Europe is responsible for assisting in the development of innovative and profitable Products across APT, Travelmarvel and TravelGlo for their specific region.

THE ROLE- based in Cheltenham, Melbourne*
The role is responsible for assisting the Head of Product develop products which provide a competitive advantage, ensure sales and profitability growth targets are met and provide best practice product administration and planning services.
**Product Development**
- Generate ideas and contribute to product development
- Assist with Tour Plotting and scheduling.

**Procurement & Pricing**
- Establish initial tour board set up to budget stage
- Assist with inventory requests to suppliers
- Contract administration - ensure all contracts have required information, and manage chase up of contracts
- Cost administration - oversee cost input sheet creation and maintenance, along with contract management on MCCS
- Assist with budget checking generally as required
- Liaise with Operations team on crew requirements and costs

**Inventory Management**
- Management of cruise and hotel inventory

**Yield Management**
- Work with yield to establish the set up of global promotions to be centrally maintained by Yield
- Work with yield on strategies to maximise occupancy levels
- Assist Head of Product to develop effective promotional strategies

**Competitor Analysis**
- Assist Head of Product in completing all global competitor analysis

**Product Training**
- Assist Head of Product in all aspects of product training including Sales and marketing team, Reservations, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Attend Consumer shows and Expos promoting product

**Familiarisation & Groups Co-ordination**
- Coordinate all familiarisations
- Control Group allocations and all associated inventory management

**Marketing & Brochure Production**
- Assist Head of Product with all aspects of brochure production
- Assist with checking, proofing advertising collateral for all key markets
- Work closely with Digital marketing team to ensure administration of product and offers on web

**Supplier Relationships**
- Create excellent working relationships with all relevant suppliers
- Assist in managing the relationship with key stakeholders

ABOUT YOU*
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a product-based role
- Excellent product and destination skills
- High attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Excellent excel skills
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work in a team
