We are seeking an experienced Head Barista to join us to establish and maintain a coffee program based at our brand new store in Shenton Park that will be opening its doors in mid-May. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new team that will be focussed on delivering exceptional coffee to our newest local community. Reporting to the General Manager of our store, you will be responsible for leading our team of Baristas, as well as delivering excellent service to our customers.

Our new venue will be our fifth location to open in Perth and will be our largest so far Our brand already includes **North Street Store**, **Little Loaf Lunch bar**, **Big Loaf Factory Bakery** and WA Good Food Guide top 100 restaurant, **Peoples Cafeteria**. The food we produce is simple, wholesome and delicious, made exclusively from local ingredients. **Who are you?**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Barista, ideally in the specialty coffee market
- Comfortable with high volume and high-quality coffee production
- Great at customer service and work well in a team environment, particularly during busy periods
- Ability to manage people to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Knowledge around the different types of coffee products so that you can consult with your customer to deliver on their wants and needs
- You believe in delivering the best customer experience and creating great relationships
- You are driven to lead from the front on the path of continuous improvement and champion the company culture

**What will you be doing?**
- Establishing a coffee program at our brand new store
- Slinging quality coffees with fresh beans from Karvan
- Equipment calibration and monitoring of volumetrics throughout each shift (grind, pour etc)
- Stock control and supplier ordering
- Clean, maintain and generally look after all coffee equipment
- Train, mentor and manage our team of baristas
