As a **Principal Policy Officer**, you’ll be all about driving smart, forward-thinking policy and program work that strengthens local government and supports reform. You’ll be hands-on with everything from scoping, research and planning to stakeholder engagement and budget management—making sure policies and projects are well-designed, well-run, and well-aligned with broader goals. You’ll also be a key point of contact for high-level advice and briefings, including to support the delivery of its Cabinet, legislative and regulatory programs, and helping shape responses to the Minister and OLG Executive.
It’s a fast-moving environment with lots of moving parts, so you’ll need to juggle competing priorities, stay across sector trends, and manage relationships with stakeholders who often have different perspectives.
