About the role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Provide technical advice to the executive team to ensure strategic planning of ICT operations
- Provide advice and assistance to maximise school ICT operations including acquistion, installation, operation, maintenance, repair and replacement
- Maintain a range of techical services, preventative maintenance, routine and emergency repairs and accountable records to support ICT and infrastructure used by the school
- Communicate with various stakeholders including regional and central support when required

The suitable applicant would required the following skills and knowledge:

- Technical knowledge of server hardware and configuration and networking perifpherals
- High level understanding of PC desktop and laptop systems, and printer support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong client focus
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience using remote support tools within a school enviromnt
- Sound working knowledge of network security and security protocols

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
