Your role This role of school technical officer focusses on the management of the IT network, staff and student laptop program, school software, and other IT infrastructure. Your role is to enable effective and efficient ICT access for students and staff. Key aspects of the role include but are not limited to:

- maximising ICT operations including acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance and repair.
- providing technical advice, instruction and assistance to staff and students following departmental and school policy.
- maintenance of technical services and accountable records to support ICT
- effective communication with range of stakeholders
- technical knowledge of server hardware, configuration and networking peripherals - experience in schools preferred.
- good level of understanding of PC and Apple systems and printer support
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong analytical and problem solving skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- other duties as indicated in the role description
