**The role**: As the Principal Technology Officer, you will provide high level expertise in the installation and configuration of network hardware and equipment, and testing of specific versions of one or more of these products. You will also assist in the build, documentation and implementation of technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. The role will effectively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions. You will maintain a high level of knowledge around technical specialists and provide technical advice and recommendations. Furthermore, you will promote and utilise appropriate design standards, methods and tools which are consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures as well as assist in the analysis, development and implementation planning of complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components.Are you right for this role?In this role, you will demonstrate your experience evaluating and implementing technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. Your proven experience in the installation, configuration and testing of data, wireless and voice along with end user device support and physical infrastructure is essential.You will use your well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders along with your analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to assessment, develop and implement IM/ICT changes and evaluate risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components.
