**About the Role**

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Area Retail Manager to oversee operations at our Melton South and Burnside branches.

As a key leader within the Yes Yes Indian Supermarket network, you will ensure both stores deliver outstanding customer experiences, efficient operations, and strong financial performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced multicultural retail environment and has a strong understanding of Indian grocery products, brands, and market trends.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of the Melton South and Burnside stores
- Lead, coach, and support store managers to achieve sales targets, profitability, and operational excellence
- Implement company policies, promotional strategies, and merchandising standards
- Monitor store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and culturally informed service
- Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance reviews
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for growth and efficiency

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Proven experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, or similar leadership role in retail (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of Indian grocery products and brands is essential
- Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service excellence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems
