**THE ROLE**

The Project Officer is a critical position within the Projects and Coordination team. The role provides secretariat support to a number of governance groups including scheduling and coordinating papers. The coordination and monitoring of briefs, Cabinet Submissions, PPQ, PAEC and correspondence workflows across the Strategy Policy and Planning Branch is a key function along with drafting meeting briefs and correspondence as required. The role also supports other areas of the Branch in procurement and support for special projects as required. The position regularly liaises with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and operates with professionalism, initiative, and collaboration.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide secretariat support to a number of governance groups including scheduling and coordinating papers, organising venues, catering, agendas, minute taking and travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist in providing advice to stakeholders within the Strategy Policy and Planning Branch with the coordination, preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
- Support the drafting of correspondence and meeting briefs and the maintenance of our library of supporting resources to inform the consistent and accurate information provided.
