**Ward Clerk**

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is seeking an experienced **Ward Clerk** to join the team within our Intensive Care Unit. This is a **Casual **opportunity.

**About the Role**

As a Ward Clerk, you are responsible for providing support and assistance to the new patients and their families. You will also assist the reception, administration and clinical teams by coordinating the necessary clerical requirements for patients’ admission to discharge.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be an administrative professional experienced in a Health Setting with a passion for customer service. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a necessary skill needed for this role. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, administrators and non-clinical staff.

You will also bring:

- Ability to multitask while maintaining efficiency in attention to detail.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be up-to-date in their **vaccination against COVID-19 (including the third dose, as required)** using a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
