Brookfield Place is home to BHP Iron Ore’s state-of-the-art Integrated Production and Remote Operations team (IPRO) at Iron Ore. Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore supply chain.

**About the Role**:
The future of mining is here and we are expanding our autonomous operations across our West Australian Iron Ore sites. Join our Autonomous Control team as we explore and optimize the potential of our Autonomous fleet.

On the Autonomous control team, you will be working in an exciting, fast paced team environment which is dynamic and strives to continuously improve. You will be responsible for achieving production targets, by enabling the effective operation of our Autonomous fleet using the Command Minestar Fleet Management System.

Reporting to the Supervisor AHS Control, you will safely execute the daily operations plan while optimising the utilisation of the autonomous truck fleet. You will take an active role in ensuring compliance to schedule and operating philosophies, driving a culture that not only conforms to company safety standards, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Understand site Safety Systems and their link to health and safety
- Manage the autonomous fleet effectively and efficiently
- Maximise equipment productivity and efficiency in accordance to the 24 hour mine and maintenance plan
- Maintain the integrity of the mine model by ensuring virtual road network is consistently up to date and looking at ways to reduce travel time and maximise production
- Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation with senior leaders and team members
- Continuous improvement through identifying system and operational process improvements in the use of the autonomous fleet management system

**About You**:
Skills and Experience:

- Experience in mining, technology or logistics industry
- Experience with Autonomous technologies such as Minestar Command highly regarded
- Ability to adapt to change and work autonomously
- A great attitude towards learning and developing new skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative, coaching and influencing skills
- A high level of computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
