**The Role**
As the Marketing Coordinator for G’day Parks and G’day Rewards you will be integral to the broader marketing team, particularly in relation to supporting the National and tactical marketing activities for G’day Parks. You will be actively involved in the planning and execution of annual marketing plans for key properties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic to learn and be involved, organised and insatiably curious about our customers and products. Commercially astute and educated, key behaviours needed to succeed in the role include communication, collaboration, drive, flexibility and a want to learn and grow.
This role will require you to:
- Contribute to and manage execution of tactical briefs for key local area marketing activity including but not limited to briefing and proofing eDM communications and creative concepts; paid advertising social and digital campaigns in collaboration with the digital team
- Reporting on key marketing metrics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with tactical activity
- Supporting market research projects to unearth insights and opportunities in market, customer or product
- Support of social media platforms in collaboration with content and social team including community management and executing social content plans on a day-to-day basis
- Liaising with internal and external contractors and partners including graphic designers, copywriters, photographers and tourism operators to support the delivery of our annual and tactical activity demands
- Provide administrative and marketing support to the Marketing Team including invoice processing and expense allocation
- Assist with various event execution and support
- Liaise with our marketing manager on marketing briefs
- Work with independent parks to update their park listings on the G’day Parks website and app
- Liaising with BDM’s and parks to assist them during their off-peak periods through various tactical campaigns
- Coordinate the production of the yearly National Guide by working with the Business Development Manager, Local Area Marketers, graphic design team and external contractors
**Your Experience**
You will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related field and you are ready to use all of your knowledge in a hands-on, growth opportunity. You will pride yourself on your organisation skills and your ability to switch priorities on short notice. You have a particular interest in advertising, research and analytics and their relationship to successful outcomes. Your resourcefulness, ability to think strategically and your natural curiosity must be of the highest order to be successful in this role.
You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G'day Group. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
