**About the role**:In this role you will**:

- Demonstrate strong personal leadership and communication skills; contribute to local and state teams both in person and via Microsoft Teams to achieve core business goals and foster team development.
- Offer technical and policy advice on complex assessments, prepare submissions and briefs, and contribute to the development of legislation, policy, and guidelines.

**This position requires**:

- Communication and negotiation skills, effective collaboration within a diverse, and strong commitment to responsible natural resource use.
- Experience or qualification in Natural Resource Management, Land/Regional/Urban Planning, Environmental or Earth Sciences, or Agriculture.
- Experience with GIS systems, the Vegetation Management Act 1999, Planning Act 2016, and other related natural resource management legislation would be highly regarded.
- Ability to drive 4WD in remote areas with current C class (manual) driver's licence.
- Ability to travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.
