**About the role**

As Supervisor (Natural Areas) you will be part of the Natural Areas and Urban Forest team in the Works and Field Services Branch. This role is responsible for the leadership, coordination and planning of a team that maintains the natural areas within Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- General maintenance of Council’s natural areas
- Implement schedules and a program of works for natural areas
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines
- Ensure continuous improvement of services and staff
- Foster and encourage professional development of the team

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Conservation Management
- Familiarity with local flora and fauna
- The ability to be resilient and agile

**What's on offer?**

This is a full time position, LGE Level 8 with a salary of $67,250 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
