In this role you will:
- Participate in activities that support the responsible management of Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development state interests and legislative responsibilities.
- Advise, liaise, consult and negotiate with Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development clients, all levels of government, and other organisations on natural resource management issues and policy implementation.
- Analyse and interpret information and legislation to provide advice and services to landholders and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare written correspondence, briefing notes, reports and information documents for approval by supervisors and managers.
- Assist with planning and undertaking compliance activities which may include conducting inspections, developing reports and implementing legislative enforcement tools.
- Other duties as directed and required.

Qualifications:
- A degree or higher in the field of Natural Resource Management, Land/Regional/Urban Planning, Environmental or Earth Sciences, or Agriculture.
