**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage Friends Disability Services to deliver flexible, quality services to people requiring support.
- Networking & meeting with those in the disability sector with Support Coordinators, hospitals, mental health departments and other registered NDIS providers.
- Networking with LACs, and government departments to develop, implement and evaluate community engagement and brand awareness
- Attending network events, conferences, expos, and other important relationship-building events.
- Proactively nurturing leads in the pipeline and maintaining meaningful engagement throughout the customer journey.
- Lead excellence in service provision in your designated business area. Areas that may include, Emergency, and Short-Term Accommodation, Community Access and Supported Independent Living.
- Promote Friends Disability Services by analysing market trends, seeking participant feedback, collaborating with stakeholders, and responding to needs and demand.
- Actively participate towards the development of service planning, innovation and business development.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, local communities, state and commonwealth partners, and people receiving support and their families.
- Working closely with key stakeholders including State and Local Governments, providers, carers, people with disability and mainstream organisations to address local transition challenges.
- Managing risks associated with stakeholder relationships through a proactive approach.
- Engaging providers to ensure optimal satisfaction is experienced at each interaction.
- Consulting with cold and warm leads to provide advice and solutions to participants and help them understand the NDIS process.

**About You**
- The following are key to your role with us and will assist in the conducting of your role;
- You will show good understanding of disability with a preference for previous experience in the industry.
- It would be considered advantageous if you have knowledge of the NDIS or individualized funding.
- You will be a problem solver, display the ability to enable growth in both the people we support and those delivering those supports, and will demonstrate flexibility.
- You will have experience in the management of disputes or complaints and are able to bring resolution to matters raised in a timely and professional manner.
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You can organize effectively and meet multiple competing deadlines while maintaining the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
- Proven people management experience and are looking for a stimulating career in a national organization and have the energy to drive transformational change to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, we would like to hear from you.

- Relevant Working with Children/Vulnerable People check clearance
- Driver’s License

**Work location** - This role is currently based in Taigum however you may be required to work from alternate office locations, community-based settings, and/or other specified settings (incl. working from home) as determined necessary.

**Job Types**: Casual, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $48,240.13 - $84,233.38 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- TAIGUM, QLD 4018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
