What You Will Achieve

You will develop and provide medical and technical information relating to the company’s drug products to the organization, our customers and the government. You will review and provide educational, scientific & customer insight materials to one or more company departments. In your role, you will lead a team of MI experts in the relevant therapy area and work cross-functionally across the organisation to prioritise and drive key projects.You will serve a key role in enhancing Pfizer's reputation as a preferred partner and foster a broad network throughout the local Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.

It is your problem-solving ability and leadership that will make it possible for Pfizer’s customers and patients to receive the scientific information on Pfizer medicines they need, when they need them.

How You Will Achieve It- Lead Regional Therapy Area Team to effectively deliver high quality, efficient, compliant and customer focused MI services across Korea, ANZ & SE Asia including creating and maintaining Scientific Response Documents databases, handling escalated inquiries, and providing customer insights. The RTAL is accountable for oversight of quality of Scientific Response Documents in compliance with local regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions (WIs).- Develop and execute strategies related to the efficient, cost-effective creation and maintenance of global & local Scientific Response Documents, slide decks and other multi-media content intended for external customers. Makes decisions regarding resource allocation and product support structure within their team to ensure adequate service levels to external and internal customers.- Responsible for defining, developing and delivering annual operating plans for Therapeutic Area and contribute to the development of operating plans and strategies for markets in the region.Contribute to and execute the Business Unit/Geography business strategy & go to market model, in partnership with the biopharma medical & commercial organization.- Provide medical/scientific insights from MI data sources in the development of medical & product strategies, development and adaptation of professional scientific materials suitable to local markets in region- Accountable for covering the external landscape relative to the MI function, so that external partnership opportunities are proactively identified, thoroughly evaluated, prioritized and brought forward to GMI governance teams for decision.- Coordinatethepreparation and presentation of materials for management briefings.- Recruit, train, develop, mentor, motivate and retain highly skilled staff to provide effective and qualified resources to support GMI priorities objectives and projects.- Review annual individual objectives and development plans and perform periodic performance evaluation of direct reports following global or local corporate policy.- Understand the regulatory environment and ensures that operations are compliant and aligned to local regulations and applicable company policies in the region- Global MI Content & Strategies: May lead MI Global Therapy Area Team (GTAT) by providing appropriate guidance and strategic direction to teams supporting aligned products, this includes but is not limited to accountability for global content creation/maintenance and efficiency and consistency with MI processes. As a member of the Global Medical Information Leadership Council, participate in meetings and contributes to strategic planning. Lead and/or participate in the implementation of Global MI strategies, regional and global projects.

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have- BS in Pharmacy, Masters or PhD, PharmD, or MD- Management experience (5+ years) in industry, academia or healthcare instituition- Significant experience within Pharmaceutical industry in areas such as Medical Information, Medical & Scientific Affairs & Pharmacovigilance (9+ years)- Effective communication skills (written and oral) and ability to articulate scientific/clinical results are required

Nice-to-Have- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including ability to persuade, negotiate and moderate conflict.- Experienced with ownership of budgets- Working globally/regionally
