**About the role**

Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, you will provide support to the Trade Stores & Trade Sales personnel who directly service our existing customer base with a key focus on identifying and winning new PC business opportunities. The Trade Stores and Sales team service many paint & coatings’ markets and they will be seeking support from someone who is responsive, proactive & energised to help them deliver with Protective Coatings at the same time as they focus on other systems such as Decorative & Texture products.

Pro-active in your approach, you will aim to identify and maximise on new business opportunities with each of the Trade partners. This will be achieved through providing insight to market & territory opportunities, innovative customer solutions, technical expertise and your proven ability to capitalise on key stakeholder relationships. On occasion you will be required to attend, inspect and assess industrial and commercial client sites to help provide the correct technical advice on protective coating solutions. You will also be required to product demonstrations to internal staff and external customers.

Strong working knowledge of the building, construction and other industrial markets, combined with your ability to communicate with Trade Stores & Sales, as well as trade painters and light industrial applicators, will be integral to your success in this role.

**Skills & Experience**
- Successful sales track record with the ability to deal with trade related enquiries
- Previous experience with Paints &/or Coatings is required
- Strong coaching & training skills to support staff & customers
- A Technical qualification would be well regarded
- Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
