**Your Role**

This is a Specialist, Operational & Cyber Risk role where you will work as a key member of a team that ensures the Cyber & Protective Services Business Unit is identifying and managing its operational risks in a timely and effective manner. You will build close relationships with diverse professionals. You will enjoy the challenge of continuously improving and managing the operational risk.

**About you -**
- You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Operational Risk management or assurance function within an insurance or Financial Services Industry.
- You’ll have experience with working with Risk Management Frameworks and GRC tooling such as Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools such as ServiceNow GRC.
- You will have experience in developing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators, Key Performance Indicators and managing risk management controls and regulatory obligation controls.
- You have experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001/2, ISO31000, COBIT
- You have relevant professional memberships and certifications such as CRISC and CISM.
- You’ll deliver 1st line operational risk management support to teams across Cyber & Protective Services (CPS) in accordance with established Group Risk Frameworks to ensure that CPS manages Operational Risk within Group Risk appetite and tolerances.
- You’ll develop content and lead CPS Risk Committee meetings according to the CPS Risk Committee charter requirements.
- You will facilitate and support CPS Risk Champions and related activities in the CPS Business Unit.
- You will deliver and execute the CPS Risk Management strategy, acting as a focal point for managing and measuring CPS controls, metrics and reports.
- You will manage CPS Risk Events, Issues and remediation tasks in accordance with the IAG Risk Management Standards.
- You’ll develop and execute CPS annual Risk Maturity Uplift plan.
- You will proactively lead work with the wider CPS business in creating and maintaining risk profiles and control plans and ensure alignment to Group risk and control standards and libraries.
- You will collaborate closely with Line 2 risk advisory and Controls Assessment teams to demonstrate CPS’s compliance to Regulatory/Prudential, Industry, Enterprise and divisional obligations.
- You will also work contribute to projects, initiatives, remediation, acting as a risk SME providing advice, guidance and deliverables as required.
- You will manage Cyber security Policy Exceptions ensuring appropriate risk assessment, mitigation and risk acceptances are properly recorded and documented actions are completed.
