**About the role**

The Sustainability Specialist supports Lifeblood in operating responsibly and meeting its Sustainability (ESG) roadmap commitments. The role focuses on coordinating initiatives, reporting, and communications, with an emphasis on standardized metrics to evaluate performance and stakeholder value. It also involves close collaboration with internal managers across the organization.

**Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for**:

- Experience and knowledge of Sustainability/ESG principles, frameworks, governance, reporting and methodologies.
- Experience and expertise in corporate reporting such as strong knowledge of standardised industry frameworks and experience delivering public-facing reports such as annual or sustainability reports.
- Highly experienced in data management and data analysis.
- Experience in carbon emissions calculations (in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol) and carbon reduction strategy, including scope 3
- Ability to synthesis complex information for diverse stakeholder groups, (including Executive, Board, Senior Managers, general staff, external stakeholders, donors, health customers) on key environment, social, government issues
- Experience managing multiple tasks, highly organised with strong coordination and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across diverse functional areas.
