**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Based in Western Sydney, work for Local Council as a Social Strategy Program Manager. Part of the City Activation, Community and Place department, your position will lead Council's Social Strategy team to address social issues that will assist other departments of Council in implementing projects responding to community needs.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

A permanent position offering job stability. You will be reporting to the City Activation, Community and Place Manager, looking over a team of Social Strategy Officers. Your responsibilities will demonstrate leadership and performance, social strategy, financial management, and customer service.

**DUTIES.**
- Undertake social research and analysis to identify social and demographic trends
- Use data and engagement to provide evidence-based analysis and advice to support community wellbeing
- Plan work to ensure that projects are completed according to timeframes
- Collaborate with Managers across City Activation, Community and Place
- Management and Leadership
- Financial Management

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Work experience in evidence-based policy, strategy, and program development
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Policy, Community Engagement, Leadership, or Cultural Development
- Experience working within a government framework
- Demonstrated capacity to design, deliver and measure social justice strategies
- Experience in leading, supporting, and managing dynamic and diverse teams
