Guildford, Australia Care 2 You Healthcare Full time

We are looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker who can support a young male NDIS client with Autism (Level 3) at his home in GUILDFORD NSW 2161.
- Responsibilities:_
- Assistance with Personal Care and Meal Preparation
- To maintain and establish routines with the client
- Supervise/ prompt and/or assist client with his afternoon routine
- Requirements:_
- Experience and knowledge with Autism
- Cert 3 or 4 in Aged Care/Disability Support
- First Aid/CPR - mandatory but can be completed upon hiring
- Competent English and excellent communication skills
- National Police Check - mandatory but can be completed upon hiring
- Able to travel/commute to Guildford NSW via own transport/ or catch public transport
- Availability 5 days a week, 3pm-5pm Monday to Friday ongoing
- Possibility of extra shifts in the evenings and weekends for Community Participation
- Non Essential but highly favourable:_
- Experience with NDIS clients
- Available immediately or with short notice including all relevant checks mentioned above
- Experienced, easy going, good with English and can adapt to changes to cater for the client's care plan

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- No weekends
