Jim’s Mowing (Varsity Lakes) is a thriving mowing and gardening business with a strong reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. We take pride in delivering top-quality services and have built a loyal customer base over the years, serving clients throughout the whole Gold Coast area. As we transition into a new phase and seek to sell our business, we are looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead this endeavor and carry over the day-to-day operations until the business is sold.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the business and be able to work independently, following the existing business protocols and procedures while reporting to the director. This individual will oversee the following responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mowing and gardening services.
- Maintain high standards in gardening tasks, including lawn mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, and more.
- Manage client communications and services, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Lead and develop the team, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Manage and maintain company equipment and resources.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilize a reliable car for transportation, hold a valid Australian driver’s license, and maintain physical fitness.
- Optimize business performance and profitability.
- Provide regular reports on business operations and performance.

Payment Structure and Quality Expectations:
The compensation for this position is entirely based on the turnover that the manager will generate. The more jobs successfully completed, the higher the pay. However, it is essential to note that quality and customer satisfaction are paramount. If quality standards are neglected, the manager will be responsible for revisiting and rectifying any issues at their own expense to ensure our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is upheld. Qualifications:

- More than 2 years of experience in mowing and gardening business operations and management.
- Strong understanding of the mowing and gardening industry.
- Cert 3 in Horticulture is desirable.
- Proven track record in business negotiations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
