Asylum Seeker & Refugee Assistance

**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

A full time outreach worker who loves to provide assertive outreach and stakeholder collaboration to asylum seekers with tenancy sustainment support across Brisbane.

**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
**This position will work within the ASRA Consortia that delivers support services to people seeking asylum in Queensland. ASRA Consortia organisations are: Communify, the lead organisation, Red Cross providing individual and family support and managing monthly financial payments, QPASTT providing mental health support, World Wellness Group providing nurse navigation and health advocacy, Multicultural Australia providing employment support, RAILS providing legal support, Indooroopilly Uniting Church Hub providing a range of volunteer support services related to people’s visa journeys and ACCESS Community Services providing ASRA Hub Coordination.
***WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**

Working collaboratively within the ASRA consortia and with other housing services to provide tenancy support for clients.
Engaging with tenants and other stakeholders with the aim of sustaining tenancies thus avoiding eviction.
Engaging with other supports for tenants such as employment and mental health that will assist to maintain tenancies.

**WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH**

Reporting into the Manager of HART 4000 Communify's homelessness service, you will work alongside and in collaboration with our dynamic HART 4000 Homelessness Intervention Team in collaboration with the ASRA consortia.
