**The Role**

Grand Hyatt Melbourne's world class Gym & Health Centre, City Club, is now seeking an experienced business assistant manager to help oversee the largest hotel gym in the southern hemisphere. Competing with local, known brand gyms also in the CBD, a key element of this role is to ensure we maintain a competitive advantage providing both our guests and members with an exceptional club experience.

**Day to Day**

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, the City Club Assistant Manager will help oversee the overall business strategy for the Club whilst ensuring a consistent brand experience and sales focus with continuous development of the strong membership base that gives City Club its genuine 'club' feeling. In addition, we are seeking a talent with proven leadership capabilities, to motivate and inspire our team of Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers and Guest Service Officers.

- Strong business acumen with ability to create and implement key strategy that will see City Club maintain a competitive edge within the industry
- Proven leadership ability with an innovative, focused and fun approach in line with Hyatt values and culture
- Genuine interest in the health & wellbeing industry
- Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Leisure management or Hospitality/Tourism management.
- An 'out-of-the-box' approach to challenges along with strong administrative and interpersonal skills are essential
