**About the role**:

- Reporting to the Administration Manager, this role is responsible for implementing finance administration with a particular emphasis on financial processing, reporting and analysis to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office along with compliance of Ministry of Foreign Affair’s and Trade’s policies and procedures.
- The successful applicant will be able to commence duties in August and will be employed on local terms and conditions. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate New Zealand Government Security Clearance and have the right to work in Australia. If applicable, relocation to Canberra will be the responsibility of the applicant.

**Who are we looking for?**
- A tertiary qualification in business administration is preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in a business administration role with a focus on financial management and reporting
- Demonstrated experience of finance functions and processes in an office environment
- Proven numeracy and basic analytical skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically with strong attention to detail - sets high standards including accuracy
- Ability to anticipate issues and problems and think of creative and effective solutions
- Displays personal integrity and an honest and ethical approach and ability to contribute to and work within a team
